Personnel managers claim more acceptance
Every second HR manager complains that he is not involved in major strategic decisions within the company and that he is not heard on important issues. The personnel managers miss internal acceptance and are no more content with their traditional role.
But not only the management, also the personnel managers themselves contribute to this disparity. Often there is neither awareness nor a clear definition of what human resources mean.
However, recruiters also are self-critical. They know that they have to improve the marketing of their work within the company and that task priorities such as management, leadership and strategy contribute to the economic success of the company. They need to build up competence in the successful recruitment, the development of top performers, the presentation of the company as an attractive employer as well as the efficient implementation of HR processes.
